Who are BIG One Productions?

BIG One Productions was founded by Stuart McNeal on January 6th 2009.

On January 9th Stuart began to put together the BIG One Show which, on March 25th 2009, was BIG One Productions' first ever live show with stars from the West End, the X Factor and more! Within three weeks of going on sale, the show had sold out.

BIG One Productions holds all of its shows at the famous Layton Institute, just outside Blackpool. We aim to produce up to six shows a year, ranging from massive one night shows, to shows running over four nights.

BIG One Productions donates every penny of profit to charities across the UK.

What do BIG One Productions get from the shows?

All that BIG One Productions takes from the money made during the shows are costs. These are for the artists, any equipment needed and for the production of show media. All profits are donated directly to the charities.

What will BIG One Productions provide pre/post show?

BIG One Productions will keep in close contact with the charity it is working with at the time.

This, if it is a Blackpool-based charity, will be face to face meetings to keep them up-to-date with what’s going on.

However, if it's a charity outside the Blackpool area then contact will be made via email, letter and phone.

We will sell tickets for the shows online, at the venue and through 'ticket agents'.

We will provide full staff cover at all shows. We also arrange the venue, a full colour program for the show, raffle prizes and of course the artists.

We will also call local press in your area to tell them about the show. This not only gets you press coverage but us too.

After the show we issue all funds to you with a thank you letter and that’s it! You need only keep in touch with us and let us do all of the hard work.

Is BIG One Productions staying Blackpool-based?

At time of press, BIG One Productions are moving on all the time.

We are in time going to move out of Blackpool so that we can work in other areas of the UK.

Of course, if a London-based chairty came to us and asked us to do a show for them, of course we would, but if they did not have an available venue then Blackpool would be the base for the show.

Can BIG One Productions produce a show for me?

We welcome any charity here in the UK to ask us to produce a show for them. There are no catches whatsoever.

Of course they need to meet the strict criteria set by us and must also be fully signed up to the Charities Commission.

If you wish to apply, email us via the addresses on our contact page and we will send all of the relevant paperwork to you.

Our mission statement

BIG One Productions aims to produce world-class productions whilst always keeping costs low.

We aim to keep ticket prices as low as we can so that the average family, who normally could not afford to go to see a show, can afford to see our shows.

We also, where possible, try to put young and up-and-coming acts onto the stage so that they can live their dreams.

BIG One Productions will never discriminate against any charity or person and we aim to work with as many as we can.
